The Zip Line Anisha Choi It was a breezy day at Snow Mountain Ranch. The sun was shining down on me. That made me sweat even more. I was about to climb the zip line and go on it. “You can do it!” yelled all my friends. I forced a smile on my face. I took a deep breath. I started up the big log that had little platforms so I could climb up. The platforms were shaking and wiggling. Mommy! I yelled in my mind. It felt like an hour, but I was finally at the top. I looked down. It looked like I was 100 feet up in the air. All the kids looked like little ants. I stood on a small wooden platform. “Ready?” asked my instructor who was right by me. “I guess,” I replied. “Ok, on the count of 3, you’re going to jump off. 1, 2, 3!” My mind said no but my body said yes. I opened my eyes and found out that I was zooming down the zip line. I conquered it! “Whoo hoo!” everyone yelled. I felt a rush of energy come through my body. It felt like I was a battery being recharged. I knew I would never forget this opportunity that Franklin gave me.
